Butterfly Caught

I'll be honest, I can be a bit of a girly girl at times. Despite being a complete tomboy when I was younger I have somehow managed to become a 21-year-old with an obsession for baby animals, dresses, corsets, plush and, of course, butterflies. Only 10 years ago I would have scorned at the idea of make-up or hair dye, and simply refuse to wear anything other than trousers - and here I am now wearing a flowery maxi dress and dyed red hair. Who knew.


Either way, I really wanted to draw something pretty and with butterflies. So I did


First pencilled and inked, then coloured on Illustrator and GIMP. Took a total of about 6 hours.
